In celebration of our ten-year anniversary, we wanted to give something back to the community and devised “Tassel Dazzle” in collaboration with 1508 London in support of Kids Company. We presented 32 creative individuals from diverse backgrounds including art, design and music with plain white tassels to use as blank canvases to embellish and transform. Each participant crafted a unique work of art that was auctioned at the Tassel Dazzle Auction on 27th September. An incredible £20,545.00 was raised which will help to transform the lives of some of London’s most underprivileged children.
Our retrospective exhibition to commemorate ten years of design was held at The Great Room at 1508 London’s gallery space in September.Over the past decade, Spina has built a reputation for remarkable designs, exquisite detailing, and exceptional craftsmanship. This exhibition was a celebration of tassels and where Spina began and conveyed the idea that tassels are sophisticated objects that are more than just beautiful detailing to finish the finest interiors; tassels truly are works of art in their own right.
